Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic technical oversight of global HSIO connector engineering teams to drive product innovation and market competitiveness
Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration between design, NPI, and operations teams across international locations to ensure seamless product launches
Drive customer engagement and sales alignment on product roadmap development, establishing long-term partnership strategies and revenue growth
Manage critical project timelines and resource allocation to meet customer commitments and maintain competitive market position
Provide technical mentorship and leadership development to engineering teams, building organizational capability and talent retention
Execute complex mechanical simulations and tolerance analyses to ensure product performance meets industry-leading standards

Requirements

Education

University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent

Experience

10+ years engineering experience

Working experience in 3D CAD systems – SolidWorks Excellent problem-solving abilities Good verbal and written English skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent English communication skills Ability to coordinate a global team in support of product development Experience engineering connector for high-speed signal integrity Knowledge of connectors or small mechanical/electrical parts 5+ years of Project management skills Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) of small metal parts stamping, injection molding, insert molding, and automated processes Proven tolerance analysis skills FEA simulation and modeling skills Working knowledge of industry standard form factors – SFP, QSFP, QSFP-DD, OSFP Working knowledge of standard connector testing procedures and industry standard practices
