Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic Epic ASAP system configuration and optimization initiatives that directly impact emergency department clinical workflows and patient care delivery

Requirements

Education

Post-secondary degree or diploma in IT or in a health-related field

Experience

minimum of 3 years relevant healthcare and systems implementation experience

Required Skills

Epic certification/proficiency in ASAP or other Epic applications Proven solid experience developing and executing clinical/technical implementation plan Experience with Project Management tools and knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices Proficient with requirements gathering, analysis, workflow design and documentation Experience with Microsoft Office applications (MS Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint) and workflow mapping tool(s) Excellent communications & organizational skills to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization Ability to lead meetings, resolve conflicts, maintain issues and enhancements lists, and manage a project utilizing sound critical thinking & decision-making skills Ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community Ability to adapt to a continually changing work environment and manage multiple priorities, while working independently to meet deadlines
