Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive ecological and ornithological desk studies to support environmental assessments
Lead field surveys for flora, habitats and protected species across Scotland including remote locations
Deliver Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and Impact Assessments
Perform Biodiversity Net Gain assessments aligned with regulatory requirements
Support development of nature-based solutions and environmental sustainability projects
Contribute to technical report writing and data analysis

Requirements

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Biology, Conservation Biology, Marine Biology, Aquatic Ecology, Ecosystem Services, Natural Capital or Ecological Economics
