Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic health and safety compliance across multi-site healthcare network ensuring regulatory adherence and risk mitigation
Provide expert advisory services to executive leadership on health and safety legislation impacting organizational decision-making
Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies that align with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Drive cultural transformation initiatives to establish safety-focused organizational behavior across all operational levels
Conduct strategic risk assessments and audits to identify operational vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures
Design and deliver executive-level training programs and educational initiatives for management teams
Lead incident investigation processes and develop systematic approaches to prevent recurrence
Establish hub-and-spoke model for distributed health and safety teams across multiple healthcare facilities
Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate annual health and safety strategic plans and performance metrics
Provide critical support for occupational health initiatives and employee wellbeing programs

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Masters/Postgraduate desired

Experience

Proven experience working in a health and safety capacity in a complex environment, minimum 5 years with 2-3 years in a Senior Leadership position. Health and Safety experience within healthcare
