Requirements

Education

BS degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Science, Master's degree is preferred

Experience

Ten years technical lab experience and seven plus years managerial experience

Food microbiology testing methodologies (MLG, BAM, AOAC, USP, ISO, CMMEF) ISO 17025 and AOAC Food Guidelines expertise Proximate and analytical chemistry methods Business acumen for P&L management Advanced interpersonal and communication skills Method development and validation capabilities Microsoft Office proficiency Labware LIMS knowledge (desired) Problem solving and critical thinking Strong quantitative analysis
