Key Responsibilities

Provide expert terminology and language technology support to ECB translators and lawyer-linguists
Manage compatibility of documents with computer-assisted translation tools
Test and implement language technology upgrades

Requirements

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in translation, terminology, computational linguistics or relevant field

Experience

Minimum of three years professional experience in language technology, terminology or translation

Required Skills

Excellent knowledge of translation memory software and terminology management packages Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Practical experience in machine translation and AI implementation Advanced (C1) command of English Intermediate (B1) command of at least one other EU language Collaborative engagement Complex information analysis Stakeholder management
