Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of strategic professionals through coaching and performance management
Steward departmental governance and committee frameworks
Develop and monitor business plans including performance measures for Council priorities
Coordinate cross-corporate initiatives and represent Planning & Development
Produce strategic updates on progress, performance and risk management
Research and analyze emerging business trends and drivers

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Management, Economics or related field

Experience

8 years of experience in strategic planning (or 3 years with Master's degree)
