Key Responsibilities

Provide expert legal analysis and opinions on public international law matters
Draft and review host country agreements and UN framework agreements
Ensure organizational compliance with privileges and immunities regulations
Support IOM governance and policy development
Contribute to institutional legal framework development

Requirements

Education

Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Public International Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or,A first level university degreein Law in combination with four years of relevant professional experience

Experience

A minimum of two years (four years for first level university degree holders) of relevant professional experience

Required Skills

Knowledge of public international law Knowledge of the law of privileges and immunities Knowledge of international humanitarian law Excellent writing skills Excellent research and analytical skills Ability to effectively work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
