Key Responsibilities

Champion customer-centric data governance strategies that strengthen client relationships and leverage enterprise-wide banking systems for competitive advantage
Lead operationalization of Compliance and AML Data initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment with Bank Data Policy and Standards across global operations
Drive end-to-end management of complex data initiatives, delivering projects on time and budget while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality standards
Execute comprehensive data profiling and quality assessments, conducting root cause analysis to identify and resolve critical data integrity issues

Provide strategic data analysis and insights to support Compliance and AML stakeholders in evaluating new projects and system implementations
Implement robust data governance frameworks including identification of critical data elements, system registration, and comprehensive documentation
Develop and validate sophisticated Data Flow Diagrams and Data Lineage mappings to ensure complete source-to-target traceability
Define comprehensive data requirements encompassing business, technical, and operational metadata to support regulatory compliance
Establish and implement data quality controls and issue management processes that proactively identify and resolve data integrity challenges
Lead comprehensive testing protocols including Quality Assurance Testing, Business Acceptance Testing, and Post Implementation Validation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data governance process efficiency and streamline operational workflows
Facilitate strategic Data Working Group meetings with Business Process Owners and Data Custodians to ensure stakeholder alignment
Develop and maintain exception reporting processes and advanced visualizations to support business-as-usual operations and decision-making
Support audit closure activities by planning and executing required tasks to address outstanding regulatory and internal audit findings
Analyze compliance data and key risk indicators to identify patterns and insights that reduce organizational compliance risk

Requirements

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or any related field

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in complex data solutions, preferably in Financial Institutions
