Key Responsibilities

Lead commercial governance across multiple data centre projects, directly impacting company profitability and risk management through strategic cost control and financial oversight reporting to Head of Commercial
Drive revenue optimization and risk mitigation by preparing comprehensive monthly financial reports tracking revenues, costs, and commercial opportunities across all assigned projects
Provide executive-level commercial leadership by evaluating, negotiating, and managing contractual risks while escalating critical issues with strategic recommendations to senior management

Requirements

Education

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not essential)

Experience

5 years in similar commercial or quantity surveying leadership role with 3 years specifically in data centre environment

Strong leadership abilities with proven ability to develop a team Sector and Industry knowledge within Data Centre and associated services environment Demonstrated experience in managing both internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated proficiency in commercial acumen and skills Experience of evaluating, negotiating, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks Excellent influencing and negotiation abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills High level of numeracy and analytical thinking Proficiency in ERP systems (ideally Eque2), Sharepoint, and Office 365
