Key Responsibilities

Lead complex anatomical pathology procedures typically performed by physicians
Manage and oversee Gross Room, Frozen Section Area, and morgue facilities operations
Direct resident and medical student education in specimen dissection techniques
Coordinate specimen workflow and assignment based on expertise levels
Perform specialized gross dissections in consultation with attending physicians
Facilitate research specimen selection and routing
Develop and implement morgue/autopsy policies and procedures
Generate quality assurance and operational reports
Maintain educational specimen collections
Supervise facility maintenance and supply management

Requirements

Education

Master's degree in Pathologist Assistant Studies with current certification and no experience. OR Bachelor's degree with current Pathologist Assistant certification and 2 years of experience
