Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic policy and corporate advice to executive leadership including the NRC President and Minister
Lead development of high-impact Treasury Board Submissions and Memoranda to Cabinet
Drive policy initiatives related to science, technology and innovation ecosystems
Manage complex stakeholder relationships across government and private sector
Develop and present strategic briefings to senior management on policy matters
Contribute to federal budget proposal development and implementation
Analyze trends and developments in science and technology policy landscape
Requirements
Education
A Masters degree, with preference given to the following disciplines: science, public administration, economics, business, or other relevant fields
Experience
Recent (within 6 years) and significant (5 years depth) experience in policy development and stakeholder management
