Key Responsibilities

Design and implement strategic individualized and group interventions for high-complexity participants with mental health conditions and BPD, directly impacting quality of life outcomes and community integration success

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Disability & Developmental Education, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Health Science, Master of Psychology, or similar field

Experience

At least 1 year post registration experience in a positive behaviour support practitioner role with demonstrated experience supporting people with complex needs and forensic/complex history

Required Skills

Experience supporting people living with disabilities/mental health Great interpersonal skills and communication abilities both written and verbal Collaborative approach and ability to build relationships Understanding of and ability to implement person centred practices Confidence using IT equipment 'smart device' technology, Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work with high complex needs including mental health and BPD Expert support and guidance capabilities for implementing providers
