Key Responsibilities

Drive advancement of Responsible AI knowledge in critical infrastructure sector by developing comprehensive data governance frameworks and strategies for AI adoption in sewer management systems
Lead strategic management and coordination functions within the department, contributing to operational excellence and research program direction
Execute independent research initiatives in AI and critical infrastructure, establishing expertise in emerging technology applications for urban systems

Requirements

Education

Completed PhD in data science, AI, or computer science with mixed background in value-sensitive design, ethics, or law, OR completed PhD in law and technology with experience in data science, AI, or computer science. Candidates with approved manuscript but incomplete PhD may apply. Master's degree minimum for external PhD track.

Experience

Strong background in empirical research including qualitative interviews and survey methodologies, demonstrated by published research in the field. Experience in multidisciplinary and/or international teams with cultural sensitivity.
