Key Responsibilities

Drive enterprise-wide compliance risk assessment by proactively identifying situations that pose significant regulatory exposure and steering management toward developing robust policies and business practices
Lead strategic regulatory intelligence initiatives by analyzing emerging regulatory developments and maintaining comprehensive oversight of regulatory changes impacting global business operations
Command a specialized team of highly skilled analysts conducting complex investigations on high-risk compliance matters that directly impact Amazon's regulatory standing

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree

Experience

5+ years experience in Compliance/AML, risk or assurance functions

Required Skills

Proven ability to lead a team Working knowledge of financial institutions, money service business, and/or banking compliance in EU, including knowledge of anti-money laundering, credit compliance and consumer protection, data protection, anti-corruption regulations Strong problem solving and operational process skills and attention to detail High energy and creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to work in a fast growth and changing environment Ability to work within a matrixed environment and cross functionally with operations and technology functions

Certifications

CAMS Certification or other Compliance certification such as CRCM or CRP
