Key Responsibilities

Lead quality verification inspections for construction projects ensuring compliance with contract specifications and environmental permits
Conduct quality assurance inspections for permanent contract materials
Execute compliance audits for materials sampling and testing protocols
Manage project progress documentation and contractor payment processing
Apply engineering judgment to make technical recommendations and interface with contractors
Prepare detailed field documentation and inspection reports

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited university OR Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification

Experience

For TE2: One year experience as Transportation Engineer 1 or equivalent with EIT, OR Two years experience without EIT, OR Master's degree in related field

Required Skills
