Key Responsibilities

Lead technical direction for Radiobioassay and ICP-MS laboratories ensuring analytical quality
Maintain DOELAP accreditation compliance through quality assurance oversight
Develop and validate new analytical procedures aligned with evolving nuclear mission requirements
Manage reference standards inventory and preparation protocols
Author and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
Perform complex chemical analyses on bioassay samples
Provide quality control oversight and data validation
Coordinate laboratory safety protocols and documentation

Requirements

Education

BS degree in Chemistry, Radiochemistry, or closely related field

Experience

Minimum of two years of experience in radiochemistry or sample analysis laboratory
