Key Responsibilities

Lead research initiatives in philosophy of AI and ethics of risk with focus on high-impact publications
Submit and secure competitive research grants from Hong Kong Research Grants Council and other funding bodies
Deliver three courses per academic year at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
Organize academic activities including seminars, workshops, and reading groups
Support research activities of the Hong Kong Catastrophic Risk Centre
Supervise student capstone projects and contribute to curriculum development
Perform administrative duties as assigned by Department Head

Requirements

Education

PhD in Philosophy or related disciplines

Experience

PhD obtained within last 5 years prior to appointment

Required Skills

Expertise in philosophy of AI and/or ethics of risk Research publication track record preferably in leading journals Grant writing and proposal development Teaching capability at undergraduate and postgraduate levels English language proficiency for instruction Academic event organization and management
