Key Responsibilities

Lead research initiatives in air pollution analysis and toxicology assessment
Develop and implement guideline concentrations for toxic air contaminants
Conduct complex data analysis using GIS, Python, and R for community air quality studies
Provide technical support to NYSDEC regional offices for regulatory compliance
Evaluate and assess public health impacts of air toxics data
Support Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act implementation
Prepare technical reports and presentations for regulatory decision-making

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred in Public Health, Epidemiology and Biostatistics, or Environmental Health)

Experience

Two years of professional research experience
