Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of enterprise-wide risk management frameworks affecting multi-billion euro construction operations across four European markets
Drive executive-level risk governance by supporting Risk & Control Committee decision-making processes and delivering actionable insights for project and operational risk mitigation
Execute comprehensive internal control assessments and consolidate findings into strategic risk reports that directly influence board-level decisions and external stakeholder communications
Orchestrate cross-divisional risk management harmonization and digitalization initiatives to optimize organizational risk profile and operational efficiency
Provide strategic advisory support to Executive Board and Audit Committee for annual control statements and regulatory compliance requirements
Translate corporate strategy into operational risk policies and control frameworks that guide business unit operations across international markets
Lead enterprise risk scenario planning and critical risk identification processes that protect organizational assets and strategic objectives

Requirements

Education

A Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience. A Post Master (e.g. RA, CPA, RO) is a plus.

Experience

Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in risk management and internal controls

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of internal controls, processes, and automated systems Proficiency in presenting complex information and engaging with senior leadership Ability to analyze data and extract insights to support business decisions Business fluency in English (written and verbal) Experience in a project-oriented organization is advantageous
