Key Responsibilities

Drive strategic procurement initiatives across entire APAC region for solar PV, wind and energy storage projects, directly impacting multi-million dollar project deliveries
Lead comprehensive market intelligence gathering and supplier relationship management, establishing critical supply chain partnerships that determine project success
Provide strategic cost estimations that directly influence business development decisions and project viability assessments
Manage complex procurement strategies for major equipment categories including modules, inverters, transformers, and BESS systems
Execute high-value supply contract negotiations and frame agreements that secure competitive pricing and delivery terms
Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure procurement activities align with construction timelines and quality standards
Implement ESG compliance frameworks in procurement processes, ensuring suppliers meet environmental and social governance standards
Oversee supplier prequalification and performance management across APAC region, maintaining strategic vendor relationships
Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics, establishing feedback loops for continuous cost optimization

Requirements

Education

Master's degree in engineering or business preferred

Experience

5-7 years extensive experience in Solar PV, Wind and Energy Storage industry

Required Skills

Understanding of PV module technologies, efficiencies and use case Inverter specifications, trackers, and BOS (Balance of System) components specially in large-scale hybrid project Extensive knowledge of warranty, LDs (liquidated damages), force majeure, and claims management in supply contracts Relevant experience in procurement and subcontracting in similar position Experience in supporting multi-functional projects in international work environment with remote locations Understanding of typical project lifecycle, basic understanding of financing and modelling of CapEx and OpEx Strong contract experience and knowledge Strong understanding with ERP Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office tools Forward thinking, problem solver and solution provider Proactive, flexible with strong time management skills Strong and polite negotiation skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
