Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives in Australia's public health consulting market, positioning Abt Global as the premier partner for government and NGO clients
Lead end-to-end project management for high-value domestic consulting engagements, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction while maintaining commercial viability
Drive pre-capture strategy and tender response leadership for public health opportunities, leveraging deep sector expertise to win competitive government contracts

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree + Twelve years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree + Ten years of relevant experience, or PhD+ Eight years of relevant experience

Experience

Masters or PhD in Health or Social Sciences related disciplines with 7+ years of work experience in research, consulting or a similar environment strongly preferred

Required Skills

Knowledge of and experience in qualitative methodologies, analysis, interpretation and reporting Previous experience and competency in quantitative methodologies, analysis, interpretation and reporting Highly developed communication skills; verbal, written, professional report writing and dissemination, publications Good understanding and experience of the requirements and processes associated with human research ethics applications Good understanding of the Australian Health Care sector Good understanding of the broader Human Services sector Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team Experience working on business development including supporting drafting responses to tenders Previous experience and competency in engaging and managing a broad range of stakeholders from diverse backgrounds Organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks Previous experience in a consultancy role and/or project management across the entire project life cycle particularly in a commercial environment
