Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observations to identify communication and swallowing disorders, directly impacting patient treatment outcomes and quality of life improvements
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that address complex speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing challenges while measuring functional progress and therapeutic effectiveness
Deliver specialized therapeutic interventions including articulation therapy, language rehabilitation, cognitive-communication training, voice therapy, and fluency treatment to maximize patient communication potential and independence
Assess, recommend, and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and assistive technology solutions to enhance communication access for individuals with severe impairments
Evaluate and treat dysphagia through comprehensive swallowing assessments, therapeutic exercises, diet modifications, and rehabilitation protocols to ensure safe nutrition and prevent aspiration complications
