Key Responsibilities

Lead factory-wide food safety and quality management systems with strategic oversight of GMP, sanitation, and pest control programs
Drive compliance and certification maintenance for AIB & BRC standards while leading continuous improvement initiatives
Manage and validate comprehensive sanitation programs including SSOPs and allergen management protocols
Direct the facility's HACCP and Food Safety teams with focus on hazard identification and control implementation
Lead cross-functional quality initiatives including internal audit programs and food safety risk assessments

Requirements

Education

B.S. Degree in Microbiology, Food Science /Technology, Food Sanitation or related field required

Experience

Minimum of 4 years in Food Plant Sanitation / Supervisory experience preferred

Required Skills

Knowledge in Food Safety, sanitation practices, FSMA HACCP 5S & GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SSOP writing Effective communication skills Strategic thinking Problem solving and decision-making skills Strong working knowledge of continuous improvement process

Certifications

AIB/ASI or professional GMP/Sanitation training preferred Pest control certification (State Pesticide Certification or Purdue Correspondence Course) preferred
