Key Responsibilities

Lead project documentation and lifecycle management for complex oceanographic modeling initiatives
Coordinate Portfolio Review and Assessment activities including preparation, material development, and action tracking
Manage Surge/OFS modeling efforts across multiple geographic regions (Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic coast, Arctic, East/West Pacific)
Oversee optimization of cloud infrastructure and geospatial web services
Direct multi-agency collaboration and stakeholder engagement
Guide technical implementation of hydrodynamic and oceanographic modeling systems
Ensure compliance with federal IT security regulations

Requirements

Education

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Marine Science, GIS, Remote Sensing, or related field

Experience

4 years with Ph.D. or 8 years with MS/MA
