Key Responsibilities

Lead development and optimization of AML transaction monitoring models
Serve as primary liaison for senior management and stakeholders on model-related inquiries
Guide model validation activities and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks
Drive continuous improvement of transaction monitoring systems
Analyze and interpret transaction monitoring data across business lines
Develop and enhance rule-based scenarios for risk detection

Requirements

Education

Advanced University degree (Master or Ph.D.) in STEM

Experience

5+ years of quantitative model development or model validation experience

Required Skills

Python programming with data manipulation libraries SQL, R, MatLab, or SAS proficiency Machine Learning and AI principles Project management Communication and presentation skills Data analysis and visualization Model risk management Financial Crime Prevention expertise Transaction Monitoring systems experience
